Kennedy died Friday in a private hospital. One-time director of the Atlanta Jewish Community Center, Mr. Kennedy lectured extensively and became well known after articles began appearing in Life Magazine and other national magazines, concerning his "sleep conducted at the Atlanta YMCA. Mr. Kennedy retired from the in 1945 after 30 years service.

He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the Atlanta Retired Officers Association. Survivors are widow; a daughter, Mary Kennedy of San Diego; two sons, Joseph A. Kennedy Jr. of Fort Worth and James F. Kennedy of Irving, two sisters, Mrs.

Mary A. Kennedy and Jane Kennedy, both of New York. Ralph D. King Funeral for Ralph Douglas King, 58, 2591 River Oak Drive in Decatur, will be held at 2:30 p.m/ Sunday at Trinity Chapel with burial in Westview Cemetery. The Rev.

Joseph Black will officiate. Mr. King, a native of Lafayette, died Friday. He was a longtime employe of Genuine Parts Co. and for the last three years had been property manager for the Nationwide Automobile Parts Co.

He was a member of the North Decatur Methodist Church. Survivors are the widow, the former Ernestine Stephens; mother, Mrs. John L. King of Atlanta; daughters, Hedy King and Annette King, both of Decatur; brothers, Jack King, Thomas King, and Maurice King, all of Atlanta, and Jim King of Muscle Shoals, and a sister Mrs. Alfred Campbell of Atlanta.

Alma H. Deaton Funeral for Mrs. Alma H. Deaton, 76, 3706 Greentree Farm Drive in Decatur, will be held at 4 p. m.

Sunday at Ward's Glenwood Chapel with burial in Eastview Cemetery. The Rev. Guy C. Rainwater will officiate Mrs. Deaton, a native of Forsyth County, died Friday.
